Picklesburgh, one of the nation’s most unique food festivals, needed a standout attraction to increase guest engagement and create a viral social media moment. They wanted an interactive experience that was on-theme, fun for all ages, and would draw crowds.
We delivered the world’s first Mechanical Pickle! This custom-branded ride became the instant centerpiece of the festival, offering a hilarious and thrilling challenge for attendees. Jeremy Waldrup, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership President and CEO wanted to make a statement for their 10-year anniversary, “Ten years is a really big dill for us, and we can’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than with something as one-of-a-kind as a mechanical pickle,” Waldrup said in the Pittsburgh Magazine.
The Mechanical Pickle was a huge success, creating a viral moment for Picklesburgh and establishing itself as the festival’s must-do attraction.
