How to Design an Inflatable Park
Galaxy Inflatable Parks | Design Process Guide
Building an inflatable adventure park isn’t something that happens overnight — but with the right partner and a clear process, it can be smoother than you’d expect. Over the years, we’ve refined our approach into 9 carefully sequenced stages that take you from an initial idea all the way to a fully operational, camera-ready attraction.
Stage 1: Let’s Talk
Every great inflatable park begins with an honest conversation. We’ll sit down with you to explore your vision — the exciting possibilities, the potential pitfalls, and a frank look at whether your business concept is truly feasible. No hard sell, no pressure. Just the kind of candid dialogue we believe every good business relationship should start with.
Stage 2: Site Evaluation
Next, we take a close look at your space — whether that’s an existing building you own or a location you’re considering leasing. With our experience on both the manufacturing and operations side of the industry, we’re able to give you the most honest evaluation of your space. We can tell you what will and won’t work, and why.
Stage 3: Measurements & Plans
Precision matters. Ideally, we work from CAD plans of your building to capture accurate measurements — though we understand that’s not always possible. When needed, we conduct on-site pre-visits, which we do for roughly 20% of our projects. We’ll also use site photos and videos alongside any available plans to make sure we fully understand your space before the design work begins.
Stage 4: Concept Designs
This is the fun part. Using our own proprietary design software, we can create detailed 3D concept renders in as little as 10 minutes. That speed saves weeks on production time and gives you the freedom to explore multiple layouts and color schemes in hours or days rather than weeks. You’ll see exactly what you’re getting — no surprises down the line.
Stage 5: Engineering Phase
Once you’ve approved a concept design and placed your deposit, we move into engineering. The renders we produce at this stage aren’t just visuals — they serve as the precise cut files from which we manufacture every module of your inflatable park. This is where your creative vision becomes a technical blueprint ready for production.
Stage 6: Confirmation, Manufacturing & Shipping
Before we cut a single piece of material, we send you the final engineering renders for your approval. This is your last opportunity to make any changes. Once you’ve signed off, we move into full production. Manufacturing time varies based on the size and complexity of your park — and once everything is complete, we expertly pack it all up and ship it straight to you.
Stage 7: Inflatable Park Installation
Delivery is just the beginning. One of our expert installation teams will come on-site to bring your park to life. Before we arrive, we run through a thorough pre-installation checklist with you to make sure everything is in order — so the installation itself goes as smoothly as possible from the moment we walk through the door.
Stage 8: Safety, Operational & Maintenance Training
A great park isn’t just well-built — it’s well-run. Our installation teams will guide you through every aspect of safety, operations, and maintenance, both during and after the installation is complete. We take the time to answer your questions and share the knowledge we’ve built up over the years, so you and your team feel fully confident from day one.
Stage 9: Photo & Video Shoot
Lights, camera, action! Once everything is in place, we’ll capture your new park in its full glory — still photography, POV videos, and where available, drone footage. We then use this to edit a promotional video you can put straight to work in your marketing. Your park looks amazing. Let’s make sure the world knows it.
From Vision to Reality
Every stage of our process is designed to give you clarity, confidence, and control. From the first conversation to the final video shoot, we’re with you the entire way.
If you’ve been dreaming of opening an inflatable adventure park, the path forward is clearer than you might think. It starts with a conversation — and we’d love to have it.
