Air Maniax 

When Mr. Riyaz Suterwalla contacted Galaxy Inflataparks he told us he wanted to open the first Inflatable Theme Park not only in Dubai but in the whole Middle East region.

He originally was going to create a Trampoline Park as he already had trampoline parks in the UK. His feasibility study revealed there were already three trampoline parks in Dubai, therefore he must create something new and innovative

His brief was to create an interactive action park that offered an exciting, different and varied experience for their customers as opposed to what they had already experienced in a trampoline park.

We had a 12,500 sq feet space (1,162 m2) to create the inflatable theme park. We faced three main challenges, one was a row of irregular positions vertical columns that held up one side of the building, the second was to build the design around the aerial zip coaster attraction the was been installed by the UK company Zip Zag, the third was to design the Inflatapark around a Laser Maze attraction in the center of the park.

The future Air Maniax building was an old empty storage warehouse that required a huge amount of work. He faced the challenge of totally redeveloping the building whilst dealing with the stringent building regulations of the Dubai government. He increased the overall square footage of the building from 15,500 sq feet (1,440 m2) to 18,600 sq feet (1,728 m2). The layout of the building was long and relatively narrow, the main entrance, cafe, party rooms and entry to the aerial zip coaster attraction are at the front of the building.

The main attraction, the InflataPark covered the main central area, the design has a main central walkway (Central Avenue) with all the other inflatable attractions feeding off left and right. The industry’s most popular attraction Meltdown® the 8 player sweeper game. Two mega slides, one two lane and one three lanes, a multi sport arena, a toddler zone for the younger guests, the Ninja Warrior run challenge, the 130’ (40m) dual lane obstacle course, the 4 player Wrecking Ball, inflatable climbing wall and giant Moon Bounce area.

At the end of the building  is the 2,452 sq foot (228 m2) Ninja Tag attraction made by FlyCam, they also installed their overhead FlyCam video camera system that allows guests to activate the aerial video cameras via their personal RFID wristbands. The guests can upload their own video personal experience in the park to social media.

Air Maniax had a huge team of contractors working day and night to complete the project in just seven weeks. Our installation team completed the Inflatable Park in just 4 days working in temperatures of 90º F (32º C) Air Maniax is conveniently located off Sheikh Zayed Road opened in late November, it is fast becoming a must go to attraction location for all the family
